Structural Bonding

Key Features:

In house carrier frame application & construction - On site structural bonding application
- Structural silicone bomb proofing - Structural bonding to frameless glass construction

Structural sealant glazing is a method of bonding glass to a metal frame (stainless steel, aluminium, galvanised steel and steel) this gives the advantage that the glazing from the outside appears to be frameless.

Generally the glazed units are bonded to a carrier frame which is in turn bolted to a framed cladding structure.

The glazing can be bonded to two edges with a fixed frame mechanism to the opposite edges. Alternatively a full four edge bond provides a totally frameless feature.

We can undertake works from one unit to date a maximum of 2400 units in one single production run.

Our fully trained and experienced teams are also backed by the sealant manufacturer’s regular audit to ensure quality and method of application is strictly adhered to for all projects.

Works can be carried out at our 6000 square ft plant or alternatively on site, in fact the required works can be carried out anywhere which is suitable, all of our machines including a Dow Corning 993, Sika SG500, Tremco, Proglaze 2 and Adshead Ratcliffe GE structural sealant are fully transportable in our customised trailers and therefore can be located at any project.
